Sage to Discuss Social Media Best Practices for Small Businesses

Sage’s Andrea Moe to participate in TiE’s Crystal Ball Series panel discussion, focused on social networking and future media

Sage North America today announced that Andrea Moe, senior director of product marketing and management for Peachtree by Sage, will participate in a panel focused on social media best practices on Wednesday, March 10 from 6–9 p.m. at the Ravinia Club. Hosted by TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur), the Global Network of Entrepreneurs and part of their Crystal Ball Series, the session will delve into a variety of social media topics of interest to entrepreneurs, startups and established small businesses.

Moe and the other panelists will discuss how entrepreneurs can leverage social media tools and trends to gain a competitive advantage. Topics the panel plans to discuss include:

  • Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are well-known, but many small businesses may not be as familiar with TweetDeck, Foursquare, Google Buzz. What else is out there that entrepreneurs could be using to their advantage?
  • What are small businesses missing out on by not having a social media strategy?
  • How can entrepreneurs and businesses ensure they are using social media effectively?
  • Best and worst practices in social media for small businesses.
